Configuring Thinfinity® Remote Workspace Online Private Gateway

In order to open the Gateway manage you should have a shortcut in your start menu, but you can also run the executable directly: "C:\Program Files\Thinfinity\Remote Desktop Server\bin64\Thinfinity.RemoteDesktop.Gateway.exe"

To connect your workspace to the private gateway, you will have to know the public address of your gateway and the Network ID.

Port and Certificate:

By default, the gateway will listen on HTTP on port 8443, as below:

To edit the port and protocol select the binding and click "Edit". The pop-up below should come up:

In the screenshot above you will see it is listening on HTTP, we strongly recommend to change the protocol to HTTPS and use a self-signed certificate to ensure a secure connection. Here, you will also be able to select a different port of your choice.

The default port for HTTPS is "443". If you configure this port, you will not have to specify it in the URL (e.g. https://My_Domain)

Network ID:

Here you will be able to edit the network id information. By default it will show the format "GW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX", but it doesn't necessarily have to follow this.

Finally, you just need to add this information in your Thinfinity® Remote Workspace Online portal like so:

Bear in mind you will need a valid certificate. To know more about configuring your SSL Certificate, please visit .
